Entrepreneurship Program
Thank you for your interest in the Latinas in Tech Entrepreneurship program!
The Entrepreneurship Program is an initiative of Latinas in Tech focused on providing resources, access to educational programming and supporting Latinx entrepreneurs.
The Entrepreneurship Program will feature six activations dedicated to supporting early stage entrepreneurs develop their startup idea, and prepare for future accelerator programs.


Program Details
The Entrepreneurship Program is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who are interested in launching their ideas to fruition or scale their current startups to the next level.
The inagural 6-week cohort of entrepreneurs seeks to equip Latina entrepreneurs with necessary skills to develop their startups or escale their current startups to the next level.
The workshops and activations include:
- Week 1 Idea to proof of concept - Feb 8, 2023
- Week 2 Finding a Co-Founder Mixer - Feb 15, 2023
- Week 3 Developing a Business Plan - Feb 22, 2023
- Week 4 Raising Venture Capital - March 1st, 2023
- Week 5 Building Your Pitch - March 8, 2023
- Week 6 Entrepreneurship Panel - March 15, 2023
All workshops will be conducted virtually, and all material will be provided by our facilitators.
There is no cost for this program, but if selected, attendance to all sessions is mandatory for all participants. No exception.
Post program, participants will be encouraged to apply to pitch their startup at the Latinas in Tech Startup Competition taking place in May 2023.

Ideat to Proof of Concept
Before you move forward with your company idea, there needs to be solid proof of whether or not the idea will workout. In this workshop you’ll learn how to identify the problem you are trying to solve, create a solution, and asses the demand of the product/market fit to establish your proof of concept.
Finding a Co-Founder
Finding a co-founder for your startup can be very important for yourcompany’s growth. Having a co-founder allows you to build a well balanced team that you can collaborate and split tasks with, it also helps to be able to split the emotional burden of starting a company with.
Developing a Business Plan
Writing a business plan is an important step in your entrepreneurial journey. Creating a road map that clearly outlines how your business operates, goals, and strategies to reach those goals.
