The biggest obstacle to personal and professional success is often not external forces but what we choose to focus on internally. By understanding what we are feeling and identifying the exact emotion, we are able to overcome more quickly any negative emotions that we encounter and move on to move positive outcomes. If we are not more conscious of our emotions, which control our thoughts, which in turn controls our actions, we can go through life repeating the same bad habits over and over again. Stop self-sabotage by being more mindful and aware of your emotions. Once you have identified your emotions, how do you express and effectively communicate to the world what you are feeling and what you need from your teammates, your spouse, your family, etc?
