Women comprise 28% of the tech workforce in the United States. But only 2% are Latina. Latinas in Tech (LiT), has partnered with Korbel California Champagne® to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an exclusive campaign. Luminarias, presented by Latinas in Tech x Korbel, toasts a distinguished group of Latinas excelling in STEM industries and lighting the path for younger generations to follow. For the campaign, LiT and Korbel enlisted artist Lucia Diaz to honor 30 Luminairias through NFT portraits to be featured in a fully-immersive virtual gallery. Each image will be sold as a charity NFT to help support the mission of Latinas in Tech.

“Luminarias” celebrates legacy, excellence, and stories of American achievement, values both organizations share. The campaign embodies everything LiT fights for every day, amplifying the diverse voices of Latinas in the tech industry and highlighting the barriers to entry they encounter as they advance their careers.
