About the Role
On the Fleet Operations team, we keep Aclima’s mobile data collection operation running smoothly, ensuring a solid foundation for Aclima’s data products. As a Driver Manager, you will manage a team of drivers, owning the wellbeing and performance of that team. This includes the day-to-day operations, safety, hiring, training, coaching, and discipline. You will track your team’s performance against department goals and come up with new approaches to achieving our targets. We look forward to integrating your fresh perspective on process, tools, and management into our operations. We work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Expect to work closely with the other members of the Fleet Operations team, as well as with hardware and sensor specialists, data scientists, software engineers, and product managers. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt within our growing company. As we evolve you may support our expansion in new regions or grow into a new specialized role.
~2+ years direct people management experience

~Former fleet management experience
~College degree or equivalent skills/experience
~Familiarity with AppleOS/iOS, Google Suite, Slack, Samsara, Zenefits, Lever
This position is currently primarily remote, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there are weekly in-person responsibilities throughout the Bay Area, such as training or coaching, with COVID-19 prevention protocols. This role will likely be based in our San Francisco office in the future. This position requires you to be on call outside of core hours (M-F 9:00am-5:30pm) to support driver emergencies and troubleshooting.
