Client Insights Analyst
Our sales team is focused on finding efficient paths to successful, profitable, long-term customers by building a user-driven marketing and sales engine. To do so, we employ a bottom-up enterprise sales model by helping many small, successful customers evolve into larger, successful ones. We also work top-down with large organizations to drive visibility into work management and the impact it has on companies and their employees.
As a Client Insights Analyst, you will be a critical part of the Insights team that is building the engine to empower our global sales team to deliver key insights to Asana customers, enabling them to work more efficiently and effectively. We’re looking for someone with a holistic set of analytical skills, data storytelling skills, and someone with client-centricity. In this position, you will partner with Sales, Customer Success, and other go-to-market teams to craft data-driven narratives and execute custom analyses for key accounts. In doing so, you will help us develop a deeper understanding of our customers and partners to drive higher customer satisfaction, customer retention, and new business growth and expansion.
You will report directly to the Head of Insights (until the Manager of Client Insights is hired). This position is based in San Francisco.
What You’ll Achieve:
Harness the power of Asana’s data to build and operationalize the value of work graph for our customers
Leverage Asana’s data and systems to create customized decks to uplevel client conversations
Occasionally present data-driven presentations to clients in partnership with Asana’s Sales and Customer Success teams
Understand and leverage Asana’s data and systems to create client-centric dashboards to drive deeper understanding of our customers
Partner with the Scaled Insights team to operationalize reports and narratives derived from custom analyses
Weigh in on appropriate business requirements in order to deliver on the vision
Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver on the Insights vision
3+ years of experience in insights, customer success, or strategy roles that drive business results or client growth
Proficiency with Excel
Familiarity with SFDC
Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau (or comparable BI tools)
Scrappy, intellectually curious and intrinsically motivated by the challenges – none are too big or too small!
Highly collaborative, effective partner who can influence partner teams
Some experience influencing and earning the trust of senior stakeholders and moving business teams to take action
Ambition to build deep business understanding, taking full advantage of a matrixed organization to enrich insight agendas and help drive business results
