Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Sr. Android developer to help with the development and maintenance of the thinkorswim Android app (option to work remote available). In this role, you’d have the opportunity to work with a team of talented engineers, on one of the most advanced trading platforms in the world, built up on a codebase that we are constantly working on keeping up to date with the latest and greatest industry standards.

What you are good at

  • Interpreting designs and converting them to usable features in the thinkorswim app
  • Helping support the team with bug fixes, code maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Providing analysis of problems and recommending solutions
  • Working in conjunction with business analysts or more senior developers on product solutions
  • Implementing and maintaining application software throughout the full code life-cycle

What you have

A great fit for this position will possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with the Android SDK
  • Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Good understanding of asynchronous programming concepts
  • Understanding of socket programming is a plus
  • Good understanding of Git
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or related field

Colorado Compensation

Target Total Compensation – $105,300 – $210,500 per year​
