About the role:

As the Director, Field Marketing you will be a strategic marketing leader who excels in cross-team and organizational collaboration, excellent communication, a zealousness for driving pipeline and customer engagement, and a passion for building and developing a team to perform to the utmost. You will understand Chronosphere’s market and the hurdles of our customers.

You are at the top of your game – a marketing expert. You are a positive, proactive and driven field marketing leader able to think strategically about ABM, deploy digital programs in alignment with key sales targets, as well as integrate experiential and face-to-face business development opportunities and events into the field marketing strategy. You won’t be afraid to be bold and push the boundaries but with a deep respect for the outstanding knowledge and the skills of your co-workers.

You will:

Build, lead and manage a field marketing team including resource management, budget, hiring, and performance management. Build a cohesive, inspired team grounded in Chronosphere’s core values and motivated to get results.
Develop and drive a field marketing strategy to meet funnel and pipeline goals, account-based metrics and engagement goals and deliver upon quarterly critical metrics, aligned with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing and Account Based Marketing leaders.
Proactively engage with the regional sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
Build strong cross-functional relationships with your peers to drive awareness and action around pipeline generation and acceleration campaigns. Develop and maintain alignment with Sales leadership and provide tools to empower expanded team and functions to drive top-line revenue.
Collaborate with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing and Product Marketing to build a holistic strategy to leverage go-to-marketing messaging and high-level assets to build top, mid and bottom level campaigns
Lead and connect with a data-based approach; measuring, forecasting, analyzing and reporting campaign performance and pipeline and bookings targets to drive strategic goals.

You have:

8-10 years of proven B2B marketing experience within enterprise software/SaaS with at  least 3 years leading field marketing
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Proven track record of supporting large deals in a fast-paced environment, creativity in content packaging, analytical insights supporting wins
Proven experience working with sales teams to formulate and operationalize programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth
Great teammate collaboration with all internal partners. Have the ability to address cross-functional and cross-organizational issues independently. A good relationship builder.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in understanding and delivering clear and compelling value propositions; strong presentation skills desired
Consistent track record of high-impact success; high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic required to drive business outcomes
Outstanding strategic thinker and analytical skills. Think out of the box and challenge the norms.
Proficient in SFDC
Familiar with Marketo, 6sense (or similar ABM tools), Google Analytics
Required to travel at least 25%
