The Analyst, Media Automation is responsible for handling the day-to-day operation of owned email and multi-channel marketing automation campaigns under management by CMI, on behalf of our life science clients.


  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of CMI owned email and marketing automation campaigns
  • Advise clients and planning teams on best practices for successful email deployment
  • Troubleshoot any issues with assets and proactively offer solutions
  • Work with clients and creative agencies on retrieval and cataloging of creative assets for email and other channels
  • Develop reports of email and multi-channel campaign performance for distribution to internal and external stakeholders
  • Verify and validate reports, data and other relevant business documents, with input from management as needed
  • Work with supplier community to license emails on behalf of clients and/or CMI
  • QC client supplied marketing target file(s) and upload to proprietary marketing database for analysis by planning staff
  • Export customized list(s) and send to publisher partners for marketing list matching
  • Upload publisher partner match results to CMI/Compas proprietary marketing database
  • Become familiar with all components of HTML and Plain Text Emails
  • Coordinate testing procedures between CMI, creative teams, and clients
  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage multi-wave marketing campaigns
  • Troubleshoot all system, user and list related issues as they arise
  • Analyze aggregate MS Excel pivot tables and export targeted text file list for dissemination to partners via sFTP
  • Issue client invoices using Proact proprietary UI
  • Request and upload publisher partner marketing circulation files on a monthly basis, or as needed
  • Coordinate cross-brand target list matching to define overlap and merge into Proact database storage system for analysis by planning staff
  • Scrub marketing target lists for removal of “opt-out” physicians as requested.
  • Maintain internal archiving system architecture for all data assets using MS Windows
  • Ensure that CMI/Compas Inc. is in adherence of confidentiality protocols as they relate to handling of proprietary marketing assets & target list importing and exporting using sFTP software
  • Capture data gaps and opportunities relating to Proact & CXM service offerings
  • Maintain and build relationships with key customers and partners
  • Become an integral team member reporting to Manager, CXM to assist in the development of new automation in CXM services that lead to incremental revenue growth for our family of companies
  • Prepare and Conduct informal Training Sessions on our services for media planning teamsREQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
  • Technical background
  • Experience with HTML and general email design preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, CRM and/or Email Service Providers (ESP) preferred
  • Experience working with or servicing pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint

  • 1-2 Years of experience working with secondary data for marketing
