Program Manager & Core Team Lead – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

The PLM Program Manager will:
Play an important role in leading the Core Team, providing guidance and driving execution and management of products and services.
Drive and manage HPC End-to-End Product Lifecycle Planning, Program Execution, and Performance Management for HPC products and services throughout their product lifecycle:
Lead cross functional teams and drive interlocks across all Business Units through the value chain – Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Sales Enablement, Marketing and Pointnext.
Engage regularly with the PLM core team members – developing relationships, sharing best practices, identifying and managing dependencies, identifying opportunities for improvement, fostering teamwork and gaining synergies where applicable.
Manage complex projects following defined PLM process and governance, utilize PDP tools, and implement best practices across each phase of PLM.
Create and manage high confidence program schedules with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate program status. Manage risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.
Provide clear, timely and objective communication to executive management and other stakeholders
Strengthen core team relationships through collaboration, influence and negotiation. Be able to lead through ambiguity and change.
Effectively program manage the PLM ecosystem through required meeting infrastructure, including Core Team, Business Governance Council (BGC) and Product Approval Committees (PAC) , and Readiness meetings.
Develop and deliver complete and accurate PAC material to facilitate appropriate discussion and drive timely decisions, predictable results, and clear accountability.
Drive PLM planning and execution with Business Unit cross functional leads to achieve schedule, scope, and budget program commitments aligned with business and quality targets, process execution and product launch. Expand tracking to align with programs launched through NPI, and drive a closed loop process for gen/gen and Y/Y improvements.
Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve
Be an agent of change by supporting, applying and advocating PLM processes and governance requirements
Education and Experience Required:
10+ years’ work experience in technology companies is desired.
University degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.
PMP certification a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work independently to drive program execution and/or strategic projects
Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
Business acumen and strategic agility with demonstrated technical cognizance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies.
Superior group facilitation, interviewing, and influence skills.
Proficiency in and use of project management tools such as MS Project, Rally, Jira, Smart Sheets, other.
Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team- building, conflict resolution, and management.
Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives.
Experience managing business or product development programs within HPE is a plus.
Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, SLDC R&D development processes.
