In this SDR role, you’ll be a joining a growing team of technical customer advocates, helping us to support our product-led growth motion, driving engagement within our Free and Pro Customer Accounts as well work to build out cold accounts supported by an outbound motion.

What You’ll Do In Role:

  • Collaborate with AEs on in-depth account plans for Honeycomb’s named accounts. Bring outside-of-the-box thinking to support constant testing of new tactics to get in the door of strategic accounts (such as direct mail, workshops, etc.).
  • Develop strategies to engage free and Pro users, and run discovery to learn about their use cases to help them understand how Honeycomb can help their teams.
  • Execute thoughtful research as part of your account planning that demonstrates a strong knowledge of the prospect’s industry, current technology stack, competition, and business goals to support effective outbound motions.
  • Effectively manage, qualify and convert inbound leads. This means managing your own inbound pipeline, and staying on top of tasks and follow-ups to ensure that no prospects fall through the cracks.
  • Conduct high-level qualification and discovery conversations in strategic accounts. Be confident owning and leading a call with a prospect or group of prospects, levering MEDDPICC and
  • Command of the Message to drive the opportunity forward.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts, based on evidence and not hope, and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of conversations and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with and leverage demand generation, product marketing and competitive intelligence to enhance your outreach strategies. You live for knowing what marketing is running so that you can weave those campaigns into your strategic efforts.
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts. Leverage your confidence in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to create hyper-personalized tactics to spark emotion and engagement.
  • Live by your dashboards and use data as a weapon to win. Be confident in your inbound and outbound metrics. Follow workflows diligently to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support the scaling of this team. As you join a growing team, we expect you to participate in documenting all processes in the Honeycomb Sales Development handbook and update as needed.
  • Use Field Marketing as a tactical asset. Work in collaboration with event marketing to drive attendance at regional and virtual marketing events.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1+ year minimum in an all-bound SDR role with experience supporting a product-led motion selling into developers and engineers
  • A proven track record for creating new opportunities month over month and knocking your quota.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io and Zoominfo is required.
  • Superb writing skills with the ability to craft strategic outbound and inbound messaging.
  • Exceptional pipeline management skills. This role will require a strong handle on activity and pipeline management.
  • Excited by the prospect of working cross-functionally with sales and different marketing departments. You’ll have exposure to different departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, etc. which will help you determine your career path at Honeycomb.
  • Positive and energetic communication skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Strategic note taker. Each conversation you have with a prospect must be documented in salesforce and follow ups with prospects delivered in a timely manner.
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
