Honeywell Forge for Connected Buildings is an enterprise-level, cloud-based software suite for enabling customers digital transformation, efficient operations and maximizing the value of assets in their buildings.

As a Senior Product Manager for Energy in the Honeywell Forge team, you will play a key role in leading our cross functional teams in the development and delivery of state-of-the-art energy offerings.   You will focus on developing products that use analytics, AI and ML to drive a concrete impact on our customers’ P&L in energy.  You will play a pivotal role coordinating our domain expertise in data science to guide our capability development from R&D concepts to software solutions that can be deployed at scale.  The applications will integrate with our Forge Connected Buildings Cloud as well as on-site edge IoT devices.

You will own key offerings from end to end, including gathering customer and partner input, defining the requirements and guiding a rigorous process of agile prioritization so that we can ensure that we focus on solvable problems that deliver maximum customer value.   You will regularly work with Customers, Partners, Sales, Solutions Architects and a team of talented colleagues to assess and translate opportunities to scalable, enterprise solutions. You will be presenting your ideas and proposals to senior leaders, sales and cross-functional teams, while also exercising your technical expertise to articulate detailed functional requirements that feed into an Agile delivery organization to produce scalable enterprise software.  You will collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure that all parts of the Forge for Buildings suite interoperate as a cohesive solution.
This is a strategic role that requires confidence in your product management experience as a foundation for solving some of the most complex business problems in our industry.

Your deliverables will include:

Full product management lifecycle deliverables including vision, roadmap, customer journey, detailed requirements, design, user acceptance testing plans, etc.
The prioritization framework to guide the work of our domain experts
The sale to delivery process such that your offerings are set up quickly and efficiently for new customers
The high level operational process so that our internal workgroups collaborate effectively to deliver a post sales customer experience that exceeds expectations
Detailed product definitions backed by clearly traceable use cases and customer requirements
Partnering with sales on go-to-market plans and training materials
You must possess strong analytical, communication, leadership and technical skills in the area of Information Technology and Internet of Things.
You must have a strong knowledge of energy management principles and practices.
Specialized experience in developing Enterprise Applications in the domains of Building Control, Real Estate, Facilities Management or Space Management would be highly favorable.



5 + years of overall experience with in-depth exposure to software systems ideally developed for real-time IoT applications
3 + years of hands-on experience in product management
3 + years of domain knowledge in Building Control, Real Estate or Facilities Management
2 + years of energy management experience
2 + years of cloud software, digital twins, IoT applications, or automation applications
1 + years experience with Agile software development methodologies


Strong English language communication skills
Knowledge and experience of working with real time sensing or controlling equipment ideally related to buildings
Masters or Undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical discipline
Strong experience in a related role in another enterprise software company or enterprise systems integration company
Technical product management and/or business analyst experience in software applications
Working knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and cloud computing
Experience with IoT device integrations
Ability to quickly identify patterns among problems & issues
Ability to make timely decisions balancing systematic analysis
Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues
Result-driven project-management skills for planning and execution
