This newly created role will work closely with internal & external partners to initiate & drive standardization of close, documentation, processes, reconciliations and analysis. The ideal candidate is curious, self-starter, eager to thrive in a global and fast changing environment. This role reports to the Global Head of Accounting.

Responsibilities

Equip the accounting team with robust processes and systems ready for the sprint to 10+ legal entities across AMER, EMEA and APAC regions
Support tax team to reconcile and automate tax accounts (VAT, sales tax, CIT, etc)
Create and update procedures for on-going accounting activities
Own the annual statutory audits for the entities assigned
Support accounting team with various analysis and ad hoc projects
Train and support the team with complex accounting queries
Experience with M&A and consolidation accounting
Lead certain accounting projects in Phase II ERP system testing & implementation
Investigate historical balance after Phase I data migration, and guide the accountants and

analysts across teams to tackle the issues
Responsible for the full close cycle, the review and analysis of a portfolio of entities
Improve the interim process for accruals before a PO tool is implemented, and work

together with FP&A team to build a sustainable process in the long run
Spearhead the setup of accounting and close checklist for newly established entities
Support the accounting team to build a scalable corporate close calendar & tool, as well as the foundation of monthly BS and P&L reconciliations and analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
Strong knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP
Minimum 8 years working experiences in Finance & Accounting position, with minimum 2

years experiences of managing a team
Excellent computer skills, especially Excel and GSuite
Expertise in ERP system, Netsuite is a plus
Strong analytical skills, ability to guide the team to research and resolve issues
Curious, proactive, solution-orientated, continuous improvement attitude
Strong interpersonal and English communication skills
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
