LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is in hyper-growth mode and has been rapidly gaining market share. It has been growing at 30+% annual growth rate on a >3B business. Ad Targeting lies at the heart of this business. The team’s mission is to build an industry leading audience targeting platform that helps businesses reach the right professionals at the right time and context, both on and off LinkedIn. The Audience Insights team builds industry leading insights on targeting audiences which empower advertisers to better understand the demographic and behavioral thumbprint of their audiences. Armed with these research tools, advertisers can better optimize their creative and campaign strategies, achieving better ROI.

We are looking for a results-driven UI Engineer, who can help coach team members and deliver at the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship with a sense of urgency and ownership. The ideal candidate will be excited for the challenge to work with cross functional partners from product, research, and design to deliver accessible and delightful user experiences for our members.

Responsibilities:

• You will own the development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.
• You will produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• You will meet and collaborate with colleagues including product managers, designers and other engineers assigned to your project(s).
Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity and product features.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience
• 2+ years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS with 4+ years of relevant UI experience, MS with 2+ years of relevant UI experience.
• Experience with object oriented design, coding & testing patterns.
• Solid knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience writing clean JavaScript including experience with modern frameworks (Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc. )
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance, accessibility, security and usability.
• Experience with good software design and implementation skills incl. documentation, design trade-offs, resource management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Ad platforms.
