The future of education technology

SEO & Website Growth Manager

Online education is no longer a novel or niche idea. It is the fastest-growing segment in higher education, accounting for 20% of all enrollees and 35% of graduate-level certificates and degrees. It’s also getting increasingly competitive, as more and better programs are launched each semester. Universities need to go online quickly, economically, and elegantly, creating programs that students can’t wait to tell their friends about and that their professors want to teach.

Noodle helps universities bring programs online with flexibility, transparency, alignment, efficiency, and joy. That’s why more top universities chose us last year than all other online program managers combined. We are a passionate team of technologists, educators, and experts. Online learning has the potential to transform higher education; if you’re interested in being part of that journey, keep reading!

About the role:

As the SEO and Website Growth Manager for Noodle Partners, your primary responsibility is to grow the portfolio of Noodle websites. How? Glad you asked. Winning growth strategies are a product of research, marketing, design, development, engineering, and product management. As a central cog in our digital marketing machine, your well-versed skill set lends a hand to each and every aspect of digital growth.

With a key focus on SEO, you will manage the nuts and bolts of foundational website needs ranging from sitemaps and topical keyword research to processes for content creation. You’ll use your technical acumen to strengthen our partnerships with product and engineering teams to drive user-friendly, robot-optimized solutions for website features. You will put to work your natural curiosity by keeping tabs on trends occurring within our websites as well as outside—perpetually informing new content development and advocating for the refresh of existing. And maybe you’ll discover some CRO testing ideas, to boot!

As Noodle grows, so will you. Responsibilities will evolve from direct contribution to strategic planning and management of outside services and agencies to scale operations. And you’ll be a key player in setting up and improving processes to enable timely reporting; maintain content and asset libraries; manage program taxonomies; and more. Ultimately, you’ll use an “SEO” lens to apply thoughtful deliberation to every project and task thrown your way.

As our SEO and Website Growth Manager you will:

Establish short- and long-term strategies for organic growth of our University microsites, websites, and Noodle.com
Research and implement keywords to facilitate SEO, content, and site-specific strategies

Engage cross-functionally and inter-departmentally with other members of the larger team of editors, developers, and designers
Define and measure both successes and shortcomings of campaigns
Analyze goal flows and funnels, and recommend incremental improvements to boost conversions
