What you need to know about the role:
Through a combination of technological innovation and strategic partnerships, the Post Processing teams create better ways to manage and move money, and offers choice and flexibility to align with merchant business models.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr Product Manager who is passionate about solving customer problems and creating experiences that are elegant and effective. You will own, drive and create world-class customer experiences throughout the lifecycle.  With the ability to cut through the noise and focus on what really matters, you will serve as a product owner within an agile scrum team to prioritize the backlog and work on the most impactful features in our Pricing, Funding and Disputes domains. You must have the ability to succeed in a matrix environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners in a positive, productive, and transparent way.

 

Your day to day:

Drive product execution for Post Processing domains.
Ensure product requirements are defined globally.
Clearly solicit feedback and distill vision, strategy, product benefits and results to our internal stakeholders.
Represent the products to stakeholders and to peers across PayPal including teams that support our LE merchants.
Write clear, detailed, and thorough user stories for complex features, functionality, and products.
Work on a daily basis with Agile engineering scrum teams and participate in daily standups, grooming and planning to deliver product features on a bi-weekly basis.
Participate in the QA process to ensure the final product meets the business design.
Work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with key customers (PMs from across the organization, software engineers, product analytics and other business teams) that will allow understand gaps and build the right solutions.
What do you need to bring:

5+ years of experience building and shipping technology products at scale.
Experience delivering on complex roadmaps with dependencies on multiple teams.
A natural, deep curiosity that drives you to learn, investigate, and constantly ask why.
Expert communication skills, including the ability to persuade and inspire, a knack for breaking down complex technical concepts, and a proactive attitude towards knowledge sharing.
Boundless creativity when it comes to generating ideas, but an understanding that execution is what ultimately matters.
