The Role

This role is central to the success of SoFi’s Money product. We enable our Members to save, spend and earn in a way that meets their financial ambitions. You will have an opportunity to own and have an impact in critical early lifecycle Member experiences such as account creation, on-boarding, feature discovery and engagement to name a few. You will be responsible for setting the vision, identifying opportunities and key inputs, setting goals, defining the Member experiences and delivering features that help our members “get their money right”. As a product leader in our organization, we look to you to set big, ambitious goals, be gritty, and hold yourself and your cross-functional teams accountable to deliver results on behalf of our Members.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a vision, strategy and product roadmap
  • Manage your product backlog
  • Partner with design, compliance, legal, operations, and risk to define compelling experiences
  • Collaborate with your engineering partners to make smart product/technical trade-offs
  • Experiment (a/b testing) and analyze Member impact to iteratively build towards your vision

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years overall product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with an engineering and technical discipline
  • Strong product intuition
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Top notch collaboration skills across a variety of disciplines
  • A strong sense of ownership and bias for action
  • Great written communication skills that drives clarity
  • Comfort making decisions in an atmosphere of high ambiguity

Nice to Have

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Passion for fin tech
