The Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together to support each other through three key initiatives: LeanIn.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.

We’re looking for a talented marketer to lead our integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and growth of our programs and global community. Our ideal candidate is a strong “big picture” thinker and an equally strong “doer” that can develop the strategy and roll up their sleeves to implement projects. This exciting role includes leading the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of our go-to-market plans and ongoing marketing strategies to B2C and B2B audiences.

Due to COVID-19, our team is working remotely on PDT hours through September 2021. Beyond that, this full-time position will be based out of our office in Palo Alto, CA. We have a hybrid work model: three days a week in the office and two days a week remote. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.

  • Responsibilities
    Lead go-to-market plans to build awareness, acquisition and engagement of new and existing audiences at scale
    Craft breakthrough campaigns and digital marketing initiatives across web, email, social, paid, earned media, programs, and partnerships
    Ensure integration across all consumer touchpoints to effectively build awareness, reach, and engage new and existing audiences at scale
    Work closely with cross-functional teams (including partnerships, programs, communications) and channel leads (content marketing, web, creative) to develop and execute cohesive, compelling marketing efforts
    Oversee paid social to reach and engage new audiences, working closely with our growth marketing lead
    Write and edit a variety of written communications for a variety of audiences, landing pages, email campaigns, ad copy etc.
    Lead the development of web pages, email campaigns, blogs, videos, webinars, and more
    Develop and execute a test/learn plan to develop new marketing approaches and channels to improve the overall marketing mix
    Mine consumer insights and incorporate them to drive insight-based programs
    Analyze and monitor the performance of initiatives to ensure we are effective and efficient
    Synthesize key learnings and develop recommendations for future optimization
    Manage and actively develop assigned associate(s)
  • Requirements
    Passion for missions of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program
    Understanding of women’s issues and intersectionality and passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion
    8+ years of related digital marketing experience
    Demonstrated success across a broad spectrum of marketing activities targeting business and consumer audiences
    Excellent writing and editing skills; skilled at crafting compelling, differentiated and inclusive messaging
    Proven skills in leveraging copy and creative to create compelling ads, emails, landing page copy, etc.
    Strong strategic and analytical ability
    Ability to both develop strategy and execute with strong attention to detail
    Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver successful campaigns
    Ability to inspire, engage and maximize talent to get the best outcome from the team
    Excellent project management skills, ability to successfully multitask and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines
    Experience with web, social, and email metrics and analytics tools; ability to translate data and insights into action.
    People management experience
    Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, develop and motivate direct reports
    Thrives in a fast-paced environment
    Effective oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to large and small groups
    Experience working with senior executives
    Available to consistently work PDT hours
    Remote experience a plus
