The Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together to support each other through three key initiatives: LeanIn.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.

At LeanIn.Org, we provide companies free, research-backed programs to help build fairer and more inclusive workplaces. As we look to expand the reach of these programs, we’re looking for a B2B email marketer for a 4-month project (~15hrs/wk) to revamp our email efforts from the ground up. You will be responsible for email strategy, execution, testing, deployment, and reporting of email campaigns to help thousands of companies build more inclusive workplaces.

This is a part-time, temporary remote position reporting to LeanIn.Org’s Director of Content Marketing.

  • Responsibilities
    Lead the development & execution of our B2B email strategy to nurture leads to adoption of LeanIn.Org’s company programs
    Architect automated campaign sequences through customer journey mapping and audience segmentation based on web/email behaviors (content downloads, site visits, etc.)
    Own email campaigns end-to-end: from strategy to crafting copy and building in ActiveCampaign through to reporting, analysis, and optimization
    Write compelling and inclusive email copy, subject lines, etc.
    Work with Programs, Partnerships, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure email communications meet key objectives and are aligned with user experience
    Analyze performance of all emails and iterate on the type of content, cadence, and targeting strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
    Share out and document best practices as well as consult with other email owners on the team to drive optimizations outside of the B2B flows
  • Requirements
    Passion for missions of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program
    Understanding of women’s issues and intersectionality and passion for diversity, equity and inclusion
    Analyze performance of all emails and iterate on the type of content, cadence, and targeting strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
    5 years of email marketing experience, including developing customer journeys, email segmentation, and lead and nurture campaigns for a B2B audience
    Strong email copywriting with a track record of developing high-converting email campaigns
    In-depth knowledge of email best practices to increase deliverability, engagement, and conversion
    Strong grasp of email & web analytics as well as mindset to derive meaning from data through A/B testing, email optimization, segmentation and more
    Experience with ActiveCampaign, Salesforce CRM, and integrating external services such as Zapier, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, etc.
    An understanding of the requirements for CAN-SPAM compliance as well as the nuances of email compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or CASL)
    Keen attention to detail
    Available to consistently work PDT hours
  • Nice-to-haves
    Experience developing email campaigns for a self-serve B2B product
    Experience writing for a HR/People/DEI audience
    Remote experience
