We are seeking a Software Engineer, with a startup mindset, willing to work with a multidisciplinary team to build user-facing features on key business product verticals.  This position is 100% remote, based in Mexico, and will report to the Product Pod Engineering Manager.

As the Software Engineer, you will…

  • Lead the technical decisions to design and develop large-scale and high-quality data services with easy-to-use APIs.
    Drive design, engineering requirements, scrum execution, and technical discussions.
    Collaborate to architect platform capabilities keeping reusability, scalability, and adoption in mind.
    Refine technical estimates, roadmaps and contribute with strategy elements, from ideation to delivery.
    Write highly efficient clean code that can process large amounts of transactions with low latency and high reliability.
    Create design documents, unit/functional test, document and implement new services, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to increasing stack.
    Enhance the product capabilities by continuous improvements & innovation, develop a strong partnership with business, to ensure both excellence in design and delivery.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience building SaaS products with strongly-typed languages such as Go, Java, C, Scala, C#, etc.
    Broad understanding of the challenges of running a SaaS platform at a Global scale.
    3 years of hands-on experience working in DevOps environments, in Cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, implementing microservices with modern monitoring and logging platforms.
    Proven knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
    Drive good software engineering practices such as code review, source control, continuous integration.
    A test-driven person.
    Eager to learn new technologies, including programming languages.
    Proven track record of success building awesome products and having a positive impact on engineering teams and users.
    Fluent in Spanish and English required.
    Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work.
    Enthusiastic, positive, friendly, and has a great sense of humor!
