We are seeking a Payments Operations Manager, with a startup mindset, to plan, direct and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives which have significant technical, financial and business impacts. This position is 100% remote, based in Mexico, and will report to the Country Manager.

As a Payments Operations Manager you will…

  • Build and own operational relationships across key financial partners in cards, banking, and non-card payment methods
    Work cross-functionally with a number of Tribal teams – including Engineering, Product, and others – to build the best products for our customers
    Hold Tribal’s external partners and internal stakeholders accountable for performance and contractual commitments
    Identify inefficiencies in Tribal’s operating model and propose new solutions (including technical and operational requirements) to address them
    Identify, scope, and drive process improvements across your area(s) of ownership
    Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management and/or business operations experience
    3+ years of experience in fintech preferred
    Proven ability to successfully drive small- to medium-sized projects with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders
    Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities
    Deep understanding of payment processing, fraud and how to impact payment acceptance preferred
    Experience managing external relationships
    A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
    Ability to prioritize and remain focused under pressure
    Be results-oriented with a strong attention to detail
    Fluent in Spanish and English required
    Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work.
