Solutions Architect, Developer Platform
Twitter is what’s happening and what people are talking about right now. For us, life’s not about a job, it’s about purpose. We believe real change starts with conversation. Here, your voice matters. Come as you are and together we’ll do what’s right (not what’s easy) to serve the public conversation.
Twitter’s Developer Platform team builds and owns Twitter’s commercial Data Products, Enterprise Solutions, and operates the business behind them. Today thousands of B2B software tools – such as customer service, social analytics, marketing management, and more – rely on Twitter’s platform to help make Twitter more valuable for businesses. We are one of the fastest growing parts of Twitter today.
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to support our sales efforts with enterprise prospects and partners. This role will work closely with Twitter’s sales teams to translate partners’ business needs into solutions that use Twitter data and the Twitter platform, and guide them to long-term value and success.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate closely to support the sales team and businesses seeking to use Twitter’s Developer and Enterprise Solutions to devise client solutions
Develop and present sales and technical materials to educate partners on the value of the Twitter platform for business applications.
Collect and analyze Twitter data to prove the value of the Twitter platform for prospects’ business goals.
Write technical documents that outline and define specifics of how to find value with the Data
Build tools and write code to enable customers and prospects to get started quickly with connecting to and consuming data from Twitter APIs
Design and diagram technical solutions and architectures that meet partners’ requirements, and drive architectural discussions to ensure partners successfully integrate.
Represent partners’ needs, opinions, ideas and feedback to Twitter’s product and engineering teams.
Who you are:
You are a sales-minded problem-solver, with strong technical skills and have a track record of moving groups to consensus within sales and partnership development processes.
You can communicate fluently with senior business executives, salespeople, product managers, and developers.
You love digging into raw datasets as much as polishing sales presentations.
You are creative and skilled at coming up with technical solutions to help solve business problems
You are familiar with enterprise data platforms and software tools including data, analytics, cloud, marketing automation, and CRM.
You have strong technical abilities, including writing scripts to collect, store, and analyze data, and developing demos that use APIs.
You are skilled at scoping, organizing and leading projects from start to finish.
You flourish with autonomy and enjoy taking ownership of your work and its results.
You are comfortable using diverse platforms, data stores, and analysis tools
You have energy for learning new things, and for sharing what is learned with your colleagues to help them level up
You love to stay on top of technology trends and put them into context of APIs and data
5+ years experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, solution architect, or similar role for a software business.
Strong communication, presentation skills and ability to lead a conversation with diverse stakeholders.
Experience using and building solutions with REST APIs
Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
