Natalia Villalobos Head of Global Programs - Women TechMakers, Google
Natalie Villalobos is the Head of Global Programs for Women Techmakers - Google's program for women in technology. The program's goal is to provide visibility, community, and resources for women across all phases of their career. Natalie manages a high-performing global team that has grown Women Techmakers from a 1 per year event into a scalable program operating in over 50 countries.
Prior to Google, Natalie developed Ephemerisle - "a floating festival of politics, community, and art" as the Arts and Culture Manager at The Seasteading Institute. Natalie consulted for the Institute for the Future where she re-launched Signtific, an open source platform for scientists and technologists to help forecast future disruptions in their fields. There, she co-led the Signtific Lab, a massive multi-player "thought experiment" platform to engage science and technology enthusiasts. Prior to getting on the think-tank circuit, Natalie worked with the communities at Digg and Yahoo! (MASH and Live) as an Associate Community Manager, and managed StyleMob, a DIY social network for fashion enthusiasts.
